Seeing the best in yourself requires you to be authentic. Being a good leader begins with the relationship you have with yourself. Holding yourself accountable to an honourable character and making the conscious choice to do better.
A leader looks for the good in people and shines light on them, building them up and good leadership begins with leading yourself. The only way to do that is to take a good within yourself and accept who you are, flaws and all.
No one is perfect, we all have a dark side and done things we might not be proud of, sometimes unintentionally and sometimes purposefully out of anger but getting bogged down in the ugly parts of yourself starts to control you and perpetuate them.
Despite these parts existing in us all we can rise above these limitations and when you do mess up don’t let it bring you down. Amazing things can happen when you start to accept all of yourself and not avoid the truth; authenticity attracts real connections. When you do accept your whole self you realise the good in you and when you can see it in yourself you can see it in others.
Seeing good in others despite everyone having faults is the one of the most important qualities a leader can have. Develop your leadership qualities in personal or professional coaching with Marion by clarifying and expanding on your strengths, using mindfulness to build your self awareness, resiliency and self worth.
